With the rise in online sharing, new home buyers are more design-aware than ever before.


Our regular visits to top-end trade shows ensure that we remain at the forefront of design innovation. We also work with suppliers to develop new products, giving us the leading edge in interior design.

How it all started

Andrew kicked off his career in estate agency, moving over to the new homes industry in 1990. With his first Sales Directorship at age 26, and his second at 31, Andrew’s successful background with regional and national developers formed the perfect foundation for his career in interior design.

He successfully made the transition to selling show homes in 2002, and in 2007 formed Andrew Henry Interiors from a spare room at his home in Bristol. The new venture took off immediately and Andrew fondly remembers the days when his cooker hood at home doubled up as spray booth extractor when sticking down design boards!

Today his company employs over 20 people and he has personally recruited a talented team who have helped him build a business and reputation he is very proud of.

Andrew is still very much at the front end of the business, managing a growing number of client relationships but also having an intrinsic understanding of the needs and aspirations of today’s new home buyers. He loves new business pitches, and brings excitement and enthusiasm to each and every project.

In his spare time Andrew enjoys travelling, relaxing with his partner and friends and weekends spent at his home on the Devon coast.

DESIGN ACCOUNT DIRECTOR

Andrew Henry Interiors Design and Install show homes for Britains’ Leading Housebuilders across the UK. The company has built an enviable reputation for creating beautiful interiors which inspire new home purchasers and enhance the saleability of each of its clients’ developments. The business employs some of the very best people in its sector and now has an exciting opportunity for a Design Account Director to join its friendly and professional team.

This is a field-based, customer facing role in which the ideal candidate will engage in a consultative approach using both commercial and emotional intelligence skills to develop the very best working relationships. You should be confident in taking a brief and subsequently presenting the design both on a one to one basis or to a larger audience of decision makers.

Key attributes required are:

  • You will come from a property /new homes industry /interior design background
  • Have proven business development skills and the ability to meet/exceed sales targets.
  • Project management experience
  • A genuine interest/ knowledge of Interior Design
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a real people person
  • Organised and self- motivated, adept at prioritising and meeting deadlines.
  • Self- reliant whilst operating remotely for extended periods of time.

Salary package including basic and commission/bonus are negotiable depending on experience, company car, company pension scheme, 30 days holiday including bank holidays.
