Designers Guild Collaboration
21/03/2017

Andrew Henry Interiors recently embarked upon an exciting collaborative project with Designers Guild, for the stunning Broad Blunsdon Heights development by Newland Homes. Based in a rural setting in the village of Blunsdon near Swindon, this development offers a selection of 57 well-designed 3,4 and 5 bedroom family homes.
Gail Remnant, Newland Homes’ Sales Manager, said: “Broad Blunsdon Heights offers local homebuyers something different and a bit more special to other new homes in the area.
Our new show home has been styled in conjunction with Andrew Henry Interiors and Designers Guild, which enhances the contemporary look and feel of our new homes”.
To tell us more about the design aspects of this project, we caught up with one of our Senior Interior Designers, Paul Garland, who is responsible for the design of this scheme.
“The brief was to create a Designers Guild inspired home, using all elements from wallpaper, fabric, paint, accessories and furniture styles”. Paul describes the finished show home scheme as: “Beautiful, bold but relaxed, where strong colours are used in the correct proportion for a family home”.
He added that the only challenge posed throughout the entire process was getting the oversized armoire into the house for bedroom two, but in Paul’s own words: “We are always up for a challenge!”
Although Paul was very proud of the entire design, his favourite room scheme is bedroom three, a young girl’s bedroom complete with a hand-painted wall mural, which Andrew Henry Interiors commissioned especially for this project.
