My favourite aspect of this project is the colour palette. It was a really fresh scheme to design and I feel the combination of cobalt blue and maroon is unusual and adds an element of originality with a modern vibe. The deep tones and variety of textures combine depth & warmth against a neutral backdrop. The scheme was designed with a young stylish professional couple in mind so geometric prints were incorporated with stylish clean-line furniture. I particularly love the open plan living area, where the deep maroon sofa forms a memorable feature.
