Golden Mede
Waddeson, Aylesbury
Golden Mede provides true contemporary living in a historic village – in properties designed with respect for their surroundings. Located on the Rothchilds’ Waddesdon estate near Aylesbury, Golden Mede sets a new standard for rural living.

“My aim for Golden Mede was to create an interior that compliments the simple yet striking architecture that encompasses it. I took Scandinavian influences to create a look characterised by three key components- functionality, simplicity and beauty. The colour palette used being blush and forest green sat alongside a backdrop of white, grey and charcoal accents. This was complimented by natural materials, such as wood to bring warmth and texture. A very simple design that incorporated unusual and striking furniture pieces gives the scheme understated elegance and a bright and airy, yet cosy homely feel.
My favourite room was the children’s bedroom. The unisex design of this room was playful and innocent with a multi coloured pastel colour palette. I particularly love the mixed artwork and creating a den like space on the bunk beds.”
