Hygge Park in Keynsham is Crest Nicholson’s first opportunity to showcase the Aurora Collection a bold, new range of open-living homes where your work/life balance can be realised with this stunning new development, offering stunning open plan 2 bedroom apartments and 2, 3 & 4 bedroom homes.
‘Hygge’ is defined as a quality of cosiness and comfortable conviviality that engenders a feeling of contentment or well-being. These are the attributes I’ve tried to incorporate when designing the collaboration with Andrew Martin at Hygge Park creating a calm, comfortable space that makes the purchaser feel at home. The mix of natural textures with key Andrew Martin pieces gives the space a relaxed bohemian inspired vibe.
Natural, warm in hue heavily textured fabrics and surfaces are used alongside charcoal accents to create a cosy atmosphere that embraces the ‘lived in’ look. My favourite room would have to be the children’s bedroom. Our very talented in house artist Sadie painted a selection of safari animals in watercolours to hang above the bed which was complimented by beautiful Andrew Martin fabrics on both upholstery and scatter cushions.
